Lecturing at Capacity Building of Regional and Division DRRM Teams [Philippines]
From February 6 to 9, 2024, the Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office VII conducted the “Capacity Building of Regional and Division DRRM Teams.” SEEDS Asia was honored to serve as resource speakers during the training sessions, covering topics such as “International and National Legal Frameworks and Standards Relating to DRRM” and “Comprehensive DRRM in Education Framework.”
Approximately 150 DepEd personnel attended the training, where we also shared updates on the “Project for Strengthening and Promoting School-based Disaster Risk Reduction in Central Visayas.”
We express our gratitude to DepEd Regional Office VII for the continued partnership and for providing us with this opportunity to contribute to the capacity development of their personnel on DRRM.
