Planning of Revision of Website by PR Taskforce
SEEDS Asia launched its “Public Relations Taskforce” since 2019 with the purpose of reviewing and renewing the organization’s PR and fundraising. The Taskforce consists of board members, advisors and Headquarters members.
In August 2019, FleishmanHillard Japan K.K.’s President Mr Tanaka generously offered us to develop our slogan “Bridging to the Future with Disaster Risk Reduction.” SEEDS Asia’s brochure includes the contents discussed in the Taskforce meetings.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Taskforce have not been able to convene and have discussions in person. This time, it was the very first meeting after a while to discuss improvements required for the organization’s website. Opinions were gathered to identify good and challenging parts, and proposed improvements of the website. These opinions were analyzed based on quantified indicators.
We tend to only focus on project management and implementation, but broadly sharing the impact of the projects and current situations in and outside Japan to a wider audience is extremely important. We will also aim at delivering the voices of our project stakeholders to our supporters by diversified means and tools.
Though this meeting was relatively small, with the Headquarters members and two board members (Ms Etsuko Tsunozaki and Dr Yukihiko Oikawa) but we had a tremendously intensive discussion. It is a pleasure to be able to think about our PR collaboratively among board members, advisors, and Headquarters members.
