School DRR – Taskforce Meeting in June [Philippines]
On 5th June, SEEDS Asia and the School Disaster Risk Reduction Taskforce (SDRR-TF) held an in-person meeting with Human Resource Development Division Chief to determine the School Disaster Risk Reduction Trainers (SDRRT) responsible for developing school-based disaster risk reduction (DRR) training design and conducting DRR training at the school level. Since April, we have conducted multiple Task Force meetings to select SDRRTs. The SDRRT trainers were chosen from various areas in Region 7, including Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor. Together with SDRR-TF and the newly added trainers, SEEDS Asia will accelerate the promotion of school-based DRR in Central Visayas!
