SEEDS Asia is now conducting field survey for distribution of education supplies and providing DRR basic knowledge in affected areas of the typhoon Hayan in Philippines with financial support by Japan Platform. In the northern part of Cebu, many buildings of city halls or schools which roofs were flown away by the typhoon are not able to use, however, support for it seems not enough. Schools resumed even though ceilings, walls and windows of its buildings were not repaired and notebooks and pencils for school students were still shortage.
