Visit from JICA Kansai [Philippines]
The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management project in Cebu, in partnership with Hyogo Prefectural Board of Education and JICA was about to end with the National Conference as a sharing session of accomplishments on 10th and 11th February. However, with DepEd’s declaration of a policy to postpone all activities in February in fear of expanding infection of Novel Corona Virus, our Conference was also postponed. Ms. Miyake from JICA Kansai pushed through her visit to Cebu and met with key persons of DepEd to conduct interviews to hear about the project. We truly appreciate Regional Director and DRRM Coordinator of DepEd Region VII, SDS, DRRM Coordinator, SGOD chief and CID chief of Lapu-lapu Division, and all the people at Marigondon National High School and Babag National High School who welcomed our visit. We are so proud to have worked with such enthusiastic DRRMers!
