March 14, Final workshop of our 3-year community based DRR project in Dhaka was held as a sharing workshop jointly organized by SEEDS Asia and Word Bank Urban Resilience Project. The workshop aimed to share experiences and discuss way forward with various stakeholders. Newly elected mayor attended the workshop and congratulated the work done. He emphasized to ensure well-being, dignity, and safety for the citizens in his speech and highlighted that love towards one’s own city is the first step towards a safer city. Many people joined from our DRR communities as well and shared their experiences and plan for the future. All of that made the workshop meaningful and successful.
