School safety campaign and training in Varanasi! [India]
Commemorating the first Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, 14th November is Children’s Day (Bal Diwas). On this day, school disaster/climate change campaign and training were held for school principals and teachers from 50 schools in Varanasi City, to capacitate them to protect children from disasters. The events were collaboratively conducted in partnership with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and civilians called the Brand Ambassadors of DRR!
