October 13, to observe the International Day for Disaster Reduction, a conference was organized by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief in Dhaka. SEEDS Asia set up a booth and told spectators the importance of community DRR and our activities in the city. Also, we called for participation to our ShakeOut dril through Facebook for the day. Many people participated across the city and shared photos and videos of their ShakeOut! Mohakhali community, one of our model communities, not only participated the drill but also held a rally for disaster awareness raising in their area.
