MoU with Carcar City, visit to Talisay City [Philippines]
June 8, 2018 – SEEDS Asia travelled to Carcar City, Cebu for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mayor of Carcar City, Hon. Nicepuro L. Apura. This event was witnessed by Dr. Senen P. Paulin, the newly transferred School Division Superintendent (SDS) to Department of Education (DepEd) Carcar City Division, Mr. Kim Lauron, Carcar City DRRM Office. The signing may not be complete without the support of those who also attended such as Ms. Farrah Boltron, the School Head of Pilot School – Carcar Central Elementary School, and Mr. Randy Watin, School DRRM Instructing Team member. Sequencing with the MoU signing, SEEDS Asia has given the Mayor, a copy of SEEDS Asia’s newsletter volume 3 where he appreciated to see and read his City’s involvement to the project. In the afternoon of the same day, SEEDS Asia also visited the newly built DRRM Office of the City of Talisay where Mr. Alvin Santillana, the DRRM Officer showed his plans on how to make the office functional.
