Post Training Meeting with SDRRM-IT [Philippines]
On June 1, SEEDS Asia conducted its post-training meeting with School DRRM Instructing Team at Department of Education (DepEd) Region 7 in Cebu City. Discussions involved presentation of the end-of-program evaluation, learnings and recommendations of the participants during the 5.5 days Pilot School Teachers’ Training held last April 29-May 4, which showed a high percentage of learning of participants and some positive recommendations. Other discussions include operations guideline changes and additional suggestions from the team and the content of the Memorandum of Agreement between SEEDS Asia and each Division to legally bind the partnership of the project implementation. Calendar of activities until the end of the year was also discussed with the team. We are also pleased on the invitations we received from DepEd before the meeting started that day to join the orientation of “Brigada Ahensya 2018” in which all departments of DepEd Region 07 gathered together to ensure cleanliness inside DepEd Region 7 Office.
