On 24 August 2017, Professor Rajib Shaw, Chairman of SEEDS Asia, visited the 11th National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Varanasi. Professor Shaw expressed his gratitude to Mr. Alok Kumar Singh, Commandant of the 11th NDRF, for being supportive towards our project, especially when trainings on first-aid, water, sanitary and hygiene were conducted in February and April in collaboration with NDRF and SEEDS Asia. Then, the DRR situations in Varanasi was examined together and information and opinions on other issues were also shared.
