Town-watching Programme at Saray Mohana village [India]
On 29th July, Town-watching programme was conducted at Saray Mohana Rural Centre (near by Raj ghat)in Varanasi on 30th July. This village is located at between Varuna River and Ganda River and the village was badly affected by flood in 1978 but escaped by a hill. People in the village decided to put the mark at the hill in order to tell the disasters to next generation. Most of the house in the village have weaving machines and making Indian sarees, they told us that they had to protect the weaving machine by lifting up to 1st floor, as the equipment has been succeeded from their ancestors.
