Courtesy Calls to the Government Offices in Kyoto City [Japan + India]

On 7th July, SEEDS members and DRR education experts from Kyoto city: Mrs. Kishida, the Principal of Takakura Elementary School and Mr. Ota, Chairman of DRR “Terakoya (community based learning centre)” paid courtesy calls to the Government offices in Kyoto City. The members of SEEDS and the experts are going to visit India from the end of July to August in order to conduct the “Workshop on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Education” in India with Banaras Hindu University in India.
The members briefly explained on the progress of the project which had been initiated after the “Kyoto – Varanasi Partnership Affiliation Agreement” between Kyoto city and Varanasi city in India (The project is being supported of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan).
