A boatman who transports people on the Ganga talks about how he faces dangerous water levels during the rainy season in Varanasi. He says his 40 years of experience helps him to navigate his boat through the rising river level. He does not have access to early warning from government. He cannot use his boats during the rainy season because it is not permitted, then he has to find alternative work. He is pointing at the bridge 8 kilometers away. When he cannot see the bridge, he knows the storm is coming.
