SEEDS Varanasi visited one community group on 25th of June which was introduced by Rajghat Besant School as one of the Climate School in Varanasi. We discussed hazards, the current vulnerabilities and preparedness in the community. A senior person who lost his own son by lightening shared the experiences with us. SEEDS aims to raise awareness on climate change & disaster risk and build capacity to cope with of disasters through the trainings and activities to protect people’s lives.
