On 28 May and 2 Jun, SEEDS Varanasi visited 2 community groups and introduced our project. One group is composed of residents of apartments, and has cultural activities occasionally. Firefighting systems are organized, but never had Disaster Risk Reduction drill with residents. Another group housing community and has cleaning and garbage collecting activities but does not have any RR activities. Both groups’ leaders showed interest in this project and agreed to implement DRR activities along with SEEDS and Banaras Hindu University.
