Discussion on Support Activities with Local Gov.[Kumamoto/Japan]
On 19 May, discussion with the director of disaster risk management department in Uki city and the secretary general of Uki Volunteer Center about proposed activities were conducted. The parties shared their ideas that continuous support should be needed as affected people may be forced to stay in evacuation center for a long time due to damages of the earthquake. A lot of stores in the central area of Yatsushiro city cannot reopen their business due to damages of the earthquake.
