Investigation for support [Kumamoto/Japan]
SEEDS Asia would like to offer my heartfelt sympathy to the victims of the earthquake in Kumamoto.
1 month has passed since earthquake occurred, and the environment that people suffered from surround changes every moment ; Volunteers from the outside the prefecture have been accepted, some shelters integrated, schools reopened etc. SEEDS Asia decided to go to Kumamoto in order to understand clearly needs of support for Kumamoto from 16 May.
Based on the result of the investigation, SEEDS Asia continue considering future support activity.
SEEDS Asia has been conducting activities in Asia Pacific region ; India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Philippines, Myanmar, and Tohoku where happened gran disaster.
