SEEDS Asia organized a kick-off workshop for “Capacity building for community-based Disaster Risk Reduction” on April 24, 2016. Risk of urban disasters such as earthquake and downpour is increasing in Dhaka, one of the Asia’s mega city. City government officials, university, and NGOs attended the workshop and discussed importance of community-based approach to cope with urban disasters.
