One World Festival 2016【Osaka, Japan】
On 6th and 7th February, SEEDS Asia participated in the international cooperation festival, “One World Festival” in Osaka. This is the biggest festival in international cooperation held in Kansai district. It was the 5th time for SEEDS Asia to set a booth for this event.
There were many booths exhibited by NGOs, NPOs, international institutions, higher educational institutions and companies which are based in Kansai district. Approximately 24,000 people visited this event for the 2 days.
SEEDS Asia exhibited some photos of the projects taken in each field and DRR materials used in Vietnam and Myanmar projects. Some visitors asked us purpose and usage of DRR materials and the reason why we chose the countries where we are implementing projects. SEEDS Asia staff members explained to the visitors about the objectives of DRR and our activities to raise awareness of DRR. Many students and people visited our booth. It was a good opportunity for us to introduce our activities to visitors.
