Project in Varanasi at Japan-India Summit Meetng [India]
Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe visited India from 11th to 13th of December. Japan-India Summit Meeting was held in New Delhi. Our project in Varanasi was acknowledged in the FACT SHEET as part of Joint statement of Japan and India in this occasion.
We installed Automatic Weather Station and Air sampler at one school in Varanasi city to conduct Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)/Climate Change (CC) education based on actual measurement. Observed Data will be used for DRR/CC education, and also shared with surrounding communities and other schools.
