17th January was 20th anniversary from the Kobe Earthquake of 1995. On the day and one day before, a contingency planning training organized by JANIC in cooperation with Yokohama NGO Network, JICA Yokohama and SEEDS Asia was conducted. SEEDS Asia was a lecturer for this training. Active discussion on needs and resources in case of disasters in Yokohama was made with the participants.
