The National workshop on mainstreaming disaster risk education in education in Myanmar [Myanmar]
The National workshop on mainstreaming disaster risk education in education in Myanmar has been started from today (22nd- 23rd December) in the capital of Myanmar, Nay Pyi Taw.
Teachers from Kungyangon Basic Education High School-1 which we have been collaborating since after Cyclone Nargis, introduced their DRR activities in the school with strong involvement with community as model case in Myanmar.
In the end of the presentation, Daw Yee Mon Kyi mentioned “As the model case to have DRR Activity Centre in Myanmar, we would like to express that we will keep give knowledge on how to prepare and response to the coming disasters to the school and community to reduce the risk and to save the lives through DRRAC as good practice to spread”
