Karakuwa community drama making group performed [Tohoku/Japan]
The local performing arts drama called “The Karakuwa Story –A Place Sea Family inhabit-”
successfully performed!!
The local performing arts drama called “The Karakuwa Story –A Place Sea Family inhabit-”,
which was held in the Citizen’s Hall in Kesennuma City of Miyagi Prefecture,
performed on 1st December with 400 local residents attended.
SEEDS Asia has been involved in establishment of community drama-making
group called “Yume no Umi” and cooperated in producing the drama.
On the upcoming 15 March 2014, in order to spread the local performing arts of
Karakuwa over Miyagi Prefecture and people across the country,
the next performance in Sendai City has been confirmed and its preparation is
currently well underway. SEEDS Asia will continue to cooperate in the future with
community recovery through the revival of local performing arts of Karakuwa after the tsunami.
