SEEDS Asia successfully implemented a school students exchange program

from 7th to 8th August that 58 students from Environment

and Disaster Mitigation Course of Maiko High School and members

of the Junior Leaders for DRR of Hyogo carried out exchange activities

with Kesennuma students and people such as an observation of Oya Area,

an severely affected by the tsunami, with a guide of a story teller,

discussion with Oya Junior High School students on recovery and

development to make resilience against disasters,

a town watching in Sakihama District, Karakuwa Town and experience-based learning
