SEEDS Asia participated as Coordinator/Instructor to Training for teachers of the forth AXA UNESCO Association Disaster Risk Reduction Education program in Kesennuma city in Miyagi prefecture and Ichinoseki city in Iwate prefecture, from September 18th to 20th. The program includes lectures, observation of Disaster Risk Reduction classes, visits of affected areas of Great East Japan Earthquake. During the final workshop, 36 teachers showed motivation for the development of their DRR Education and for the presentation of their plans in next February.
