Workshop on Academic Research Paper [Myanmar]
Workshop on Academic Research Paper on Coastal Community Resilience Index (CCRI) and Climate and Disaster Resilience Index (CDRI) was held at Dagon University on 12 May 2017 at Dagon University under MCCDDM Project. The purpose of the workshop is to provide support the universities to be able to effectively write and publicize academic papers. After the rector of Dagon University, Dr. Aye Aye Tun, made opening speech, SEEDS Asia donated books on academic writing and research on DRR to the university who is the researcher of CDRI conducted in Pathein. (The researcher of CCRI from Yangon Technological University was absent but books are going to be donated to it.) After that, Ms. Sreeja Nair, coordinator of MCCDDM project, introduced the information on international journal about DRR to the researchers. Lastly, the researchers from Dagon University introduced an outline of academic paper on CDRI and all participants discussed it and shared some ideas with them.
