On 10th November, SEEDS Asia is now conducting a training of trainers for DRR education at Mary Chapman School for the Deaf in Yangon in cooperation with Red Cross and ACTED under Myanmar Consortium for Capacity Development on Disaster Management (MCCDDM) Project. After the principal of Mary Chapman School for the Deaf, Daw Nyunt Nyunt Thein, delivered her opening speech, SEEDS Asia started the training by means of Mobile Knowledge Resource Centre (MKRC) for teachers of the school. The objective of the training is to be able to provide DRR education for students who are hearing-impaired. On 12th November the trained teachers are going to provide DRR education for their own students at the school by means of sign language.
