Workshop on Action-Planning of CCRI in Labutta District [Myanmar]
On 7th November, Workshop on Action-Planning of Coastal Community Resilience Index (CCRI) was held in Hinthada District. The field survey and analysis of CCRI have been conducted in 26 townships in Ayeyarwaddy region in cooperation with Yangon Technological University (YTU). After Labutta Township GAD Officer, U Hla Shaung, delivered his opening remark, Ms. Ei Ei Khan from YTU introduced research findings of 2 townships in Labutta district. Based on the research findings, officers from township municipal offices and from several departments of the townships discussed solutions to problems identified in each township. A series of the workshop on Action-planning of CCRI and CDRI in 6 districts of Ayeyarwaddy including Pathien, Myaung Mya, Maubin, Pyapon, Hinthada, and Labutta has been completed. Summarized possible solutions as policy recommendations are going to be submitted to RRD in Nay Pyi Taw.
