Workshop on Action-Planning of CCRI in Pyapon District [Myanmar]
On 2nd November, Workshop on Action-Planning of Coastal Community Resilience Index (CCRI) was held in Pyapon District. The field survey and analysis of CCRI have been conducted in 26 townships in Ayeyarwaddy region in cooperation with Yangon Technological University (YTU). After Pyapon District General Administrative Office (GAD) Officer, U Aye Lwin, delivered his opening remark, Ms. Ei Ei Khine from YTU introduced research findings of 4 townships in Pyapon district. Based on the research findings, officers from township municipal offices and from several departments of the townships discussed solutions to problems identified in each township. At the end, Deputy Director of Pyapon District of Relief and Resettlement Department (RRD) under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, U Soe Hlaing, delivered his closing remark.
