Workshop on Action-Planning of CDRI in Pathein District [Myanmar]
On 25th October, Workshop on Action-Planning of Climate and Disaster Resilience Index (CDRI) was held in Pathein District. Field survey of CDRI has been conducted in cooperation with Dagon University in 15 wards of Pathein township. On behalf of CDRI research team, Head of Geography Department of Dagon University Prof. Khin Khin Wai and Lecturer, Daw Aye Aye Thein, reported findings of CDRI research. Based on the findings, officers from several departments of the government, Pathein township and 15 wards and the research team from Dagon University (1 professor, 4 lecturers and 8 master students) and SEEDS Asia discussed possible solutions to identified problems in 15 wards of Pathein township.
