National Recovery Forum for Flood in Myanmar [Myanmar]
On 8th September, “National Recovery Forum” with the presence of H.E. U Nyan Tun, Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of National Disaster Management Committee(NDMC) was held by NDMC and Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) in order to share and discuss the situations, strategies, plans and opinions by the Government, private sectors,aid agencies. This was the first case in the country that recovery forum was held including of private sector. To recover back the damage especially the sectors of agriculture and fishery, it is impossible to build back better without efforts of private sector, and the needs of coordination and collaboration among the Government, private sectors and aid agencies are confirmed to be promoted.
