SEEDS Asia conducted the sixth session for our MOFA project, “Enhancing Comprehensive School Safety in Collaboration with Community in Hinthada Township.” The session focused on a review of disaster risk reduction concepts, and resources and vulnerabilities of Nabekone Village. The participants proceeded to the first steps of creating a disaster management plan, by identifying the needs and actions in the preparedness, response, and recovery phases for each committee. U Than Soe, from Hinthada District Department of Disaster Management, also joined the session to observe and give feedback to discussions.
