We conducted the kick-off workshop for our new project, “Enhancing Comprehensive School Safety in Collaboration with Community in Hinthada Township,” in partnership with the Myanmar Engineering Society, supported by MOFA Japan. SEEDS Asia team is extremely thankful for the engagement from multiple stakeholders including the Hinthada District GAD, Ministry of Education, and the Department of Disaster Management. And most of all, we were excited and happy to start our work with community members, teachers, and students from Nabegon Village! The dream schools the children drew were absolutely beautiful, and we hope the new school cum shelter will be cared for and loved for generations!
