On 5th October, SEEDS Asia paid a courtesy visit to Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Central Visayas. OCD operates under the Philippines Department of National Defense and plays a central part of disaster risk reduction of the country. SEEDS Asia introduced our projects in the Philippines and discussed future collaboration.

The Regional Director of OCD Central Visayas highlighted his appreciation of our current JICA-funded project with a notion “the project is very meaningful for children.” He further commented on our previous project on disaster risk reduction education, stating that the education program should be rolled out nationwide.
