2030 Plan reviewed [Japan]
On 28th January 2023, SEEDS Asia’s plan for 2030 was reviewed at the mid-term point by board members, an advisor and Head Office members. This meeting was held face-to-face in Kobe for the first time after three years, though unfortunately, not all members were able to join.
The plan was crafted when SEEDS Asia celebrated its ten-year anniversary six years ago. Since then, both external factors including the pandemic and political turmoil in different locations, and internal factors such as the organization’s registration as a certified not-for-profit, have brought about changes in many aspects. Additionally, 2023 is the halfway point between 2017 (when the initial plan was launched) and 2030 (the target year), which prompted us to review the plan, make necessary changes, and seek new approaches or directions.
During the meeting, the achievements so far of the goals set in the plan were reviewed, external and internal factors impacting them were analyzed, and ways forward were discussed.
The fiscal year 2023 from April will be the beginning of the second half of the period covered in the 2030 plan. We will continue to discuss for the better, engage in both the fun and the challenging, and thrive as a team! We truly appreciate your support and cooperation and look forward to continue to engage with you in the future.
