Writeshop for School Safety Inspection [Philippines]
SEEDS Asia’s beneficiary schools are now on the formulation of the School Safety Inspection Manual. The localized manual crafted will serve as their basis in the conduct of their Regular School Safety inspection during peace time. The formulation of the manual will be done by the twelve trained teachers per school with the help of the stakeholders, such as the DRRM and Engineering Offices from different Local Government Unit levels (Community, City/Municipal and Province) and DepEd Division, from the Philippine National Police, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and others. The following divisions underwent the writeshop; City of Bogo on July 11th, Cebu City on July 12th, Carcar City on July 13th, Lapu-lapu City on July 18th, Daanbantayan on July 19th, Danao City on July 21st, City of Naga on July 23rd, Toledo City on July 25th and Mandaue City on August 3rd.
