Safety inspection, Operations guideline Workshop [Philippines]
On August 2nd, SEEDS Asia visited Carcar City Central Elementary School to conduct a School safety inspection together with EARTH Teachers from Japan, and some members of School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Instructing Team (SDRRM-IT), Mr Kim, DRRM Officer from Carcar City. Teachers of the school conducted a School safety inspecting using check lists. EARTH teachers provided advice after the inspection.
Prior to the Safety inspection, SEEDS Asia and EARTH teachers paid courtesy call to Dr. Senen Paulin, Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) of Department of Education (DepEd) Carcar City Division.
On August 6th and 7th, SEEDS Asia conducted SDRRM Operations guideline workshop with SDRRM-IT in Cebu City. We reviewed SDRRM Team composition,
conducted simulation exercises. These contents will be updated on SDRRM Operations guideline.
