SEEDS Asia conducted Study Visit in Japan from September 5th to 13th with Disaster Risk Reduction Coordinators from Department of Education Region 7 and from pilot cities and municipality in Cebu Province. Participants visited Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution in Kobe City, listened to lectures, observed drills and affected areas by a disaster, and presented ideas to improve their Disaster Risk Reduction Management during the final workshop. One of participants said that this study visit helped him to motivate himself in performing his job as DRRM Coordinator because it has improved his knowledge through the activities and sharing of experiences.
