Town-watching programme at Raj Ghat Besant School in Varanasi [India]
On 31st July, Town-watching (for flood) was conducted at Raj Ghat Besant School. Since the school is located at the edge of Varuna River and Ganga River, erosion has been a big risk for them. Through Town watching, the need of decision of shelter, making warning system, policy development on evacuees from surrounding etc, were discussed. We are so excited to see how teachers utilize the Automatic station which was install at school.
