On 16th June, SEEDS Varanasi team visited Drivers associations of Aryan school which is one of Climate Schools. This school has 70 operating buses in a day for commuting of students from their homes to school. The automatic weather station in the school can be utilized for early warning to the drivers, which will realize smoother communication between school and family and will enable for drivers to take precautions on the way for destinations. We introduced our project and drivers shared about their experiences, ideas and willingness to join the activities for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). We will have a series of training to enhance their capacity on DRR for coming months.
