“Inamurano-hi” is introduced by paper slide [Myanmar]
Japanese government has been promoting 5th November as “World Tsunami Day”, and finally approved today at the UN General Assembly Committee in order to raise awareness of Tsunami in the world! The day comes from the fact-based-story called “Inamurano-hi” which describes how …a village head, Mr. Hamaguchi could save lives of people by knowledge and early warning at the Ansei Nankai Earthquake & Tsunami in 1854. SEEDS has been spreading this story with paper slide show at more than 350 schools in Myanmar and the programme has been the most favourite programme by students in all ages.
